Let’s not overlook where the exploding Hispanic population fits in.

If 1862/1890 collaboration takes away funds/incentives for regional/interstate collaboration, it is probably a mistake.

5

This meeting was very informative to me. I am now aware of the SRIPMC and I will be more involved.

This meeting was very necessary and important.

No score

  • Need schedule before meeting
  • More planning for meeting
  • Excellent facilitation
  • Excellent venue
  • Excellent outcome
  • Expect excellent follow-up

We tried to discuss the 1890 institutions and the 1862 institutions in general. The truth is that there are great differences among the different 1890 schools. I am sure there are also great differences among the 1862s.

5

For IPM, the additional contact will open many doors for collaboration

I wish all 1862/1890s were present to help reach every state. Very good!

It would be nice to have had bio info at the beginning of the meeting (although I realize this was out of your control). I was exposed to the concerns of the 1890 reps. Very valuable.

4

Would like to receive the report and the follow-up ideas.

5

Excellent meeting.

5

There should be a follow-up to revisit decisions at this meeting and assess progress that has taken place.

4

Need to follow up on the ideas—great!

5

It helped me know about IPM and understand how it works and how to collaborate with my counterpart in the 1862

4

Great:

  • Better understand complexity of issue
  • Didn’t focus on more funding
  • Great results—action achieved

Negative:

  • Somewhat rushed
  • Need more follow up on…
    • Where do we go from here
    • Hard to take back “I can do…”

In my case, it’s hard to see the selling point to my agency.

4.5

  • Should meet annually
  • Maintain regular contact by e-mail.
