FY 2006 Agriculture Appropriation

Posted 11.04.05 -Both the House and Senate have approved conference action on the FY 2006 Agriculture appropriation and it is anticipated the President will sign the Agriculture appropriation soon.  Until that happens, USDA is under a short term continuing resolution which provides FY 06 funding until November 18.

Here is a table that summarizes conference action for CSREES programs.

 A copy of the conference report is available on the Library of Congress web site at http://frwebgate.access.gpo.gov/cgi-bin/getdoc.cgi?dbname=109_cong_reports&docid=f:hr255.109.pdf    The conference report is a long document and may take time to download.  CSREES bill language is on page 6, General Provisions begin on page 30, and CSREES report language begins on page 62.
