Regional Initiative Grants Now Available

Posted 06.30.05 - Regional Initiative Grants support pollution prevention projects that are important to and complement ongoing efforts in the EPA regional offices and further the goals of the Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program. Eligible applicants include the 50 States, District of Columbia, U.S. Virgin Islands, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, any territory or possession of the United States, any agency or instrumentality of a State including State universities, and all federally recognized Tribes.

The 2005 notice of funds availability was published in the Federal Register on June 30, 2005 ( [HTML] or [PDF]) . Proposals must be submitted no later than August 15, 2005. Proposals are submitted to and evaluated by the appropriate regional offices.
